The Home & Garden business unit of Spectrum Brands is based in St. Louis, Missouri with distribution, manufacturing and sales offices throughout the US and globe. Job Summary

The Associate Manager, eCommerce Merchandising will help devise and implement the strategy, techniques, and tactics used to improve the CX and increase online sales revenue via improved organic search and on-site navigation, conversion, content optimization, and review/ratings. Reporting to the Director of eCommerce Operations, this position will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Media & Creative to ensure eCommerce growth via continuous improvement.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

(70%) Digital Shelf Management & New Item Set-Up

  • Manage new item set-up procedure on eCommerce partner sites leveraging software automation to ensure speed to market and coordinated on-time delivery based on product launch calendar.
  • Coordinate and execute omni-channel product launch programs that drive engagement and support retail including publication of above the fold content, A+/Enhanced content, backend SEO & navigation optimization, and review/ratings.
  • Execute samplings campaign to syndicate reviews/ratings across the eCommerce landscape and track review trends.
  • Ensure Brand consistency & compliance across all major eCommerce partner sites.
  • Create online product variations and multi-pack configurations.
  • Build and maintain systems and protocols that ensure all content is optimized.
  • Assist in maintaining detailed content health analytics reporting dashboards.
  • Ownership over New Item Set Up and proficient in Salsify or other PIM databases.

(30%) Conversion Improvement Strategy & Execution

  • Leverage the dashboards to identify areas of success and opportunity to take action and present findings to key stakeholders in weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Provide content optimization expertise, recommendations and insights based on emerging trends and e-retailer specific site capabilities to Marketing, Sales, and Digital Creative teams to improve conversion rates and the overall digital consumer experience (leverage Brand Advocate reps at Home Depot/Lowes).
  • Track and report organic share of search KPIs to increase traffic via improved SEO keyword density and on-site navigation for multiple CPG brands and product categories.
Education and Experience Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years' experience in Project Management, Marketing, eCommerce, or equivalent field.
Required Skills
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central & Walmart Item 360; preferably other portals (Home Centers).
  • Deep working knowledge of the latest SEO/navigation techniques and algorithm updates.
  • Working knowledge of Content Syndication Platforms, ideally Salsify and BazaarVoice.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with detail-driven projects; preferably in a marketing department.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
