Position Description

You will work with our Manufacturing Engineering and Operations teams on a variety of exciting projects. This paid position is located at our West Kingston, Rhode Island Manufacturing Plant. Ideally this position spans the Summer and Fall Semesters. You will support documenting manufacturing processes for training purposes in addition to new product launch activities.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
· Support Manufacturing Engineering and Operations with:
- Documenting and Video Tape of manufacturing processes for training purposes
- Specification creation / modification
- Enhance engineering processes to make the engineering functions more efficient.
- Tooling and equipment acquisition
- Design for manufacturability
- APQP process documentation
- Perform hands-on tasks for helping produce equipment/tooling
Required Education & Qualifications

· Minimum Sophomore standing in engineering degree program · Basic solid modeling and drawing skills (SolidEdge, ProE, UG, or Catia CAD software). · Troubleshooting, mechanical, and analytical skills · Customer-focused attitude · Dedicated to quality and safety · Solid communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to work in a team environment while taking ownership of projects · Available for limited travel with over-night stays |
